Your phone number
Your phone number is never publicly visible. It is only revealed to a receiver after they pay the ₦1,000 commitment token for a specific listing you created. If you choose Draw Chat as your connection method, your phone number is never revealed at all.
Data we collect
We collect your name, email address, phone number, and state/LGA when you register. We also store listings you create, payments made, and messages sent via Draw Chat.
How we use your data
Your information is used solely to operate the GiftMe Naija platform — to connect givers with receivers, process payments, and keep the platform trustworthy. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Payments
Payments are processed by Flutterwave. GiftMe Naija does not store your card details. Payment records are kept for transaction verification only.
Draw Chat
Messages sent via Draw Chat are stored on our servers to enable conversation history. Chats are tied to specific gift listings and are only accessible to the two parties involved.
Data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us via WhatsApp or email. We will process the request within 7 days.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
